ADAM LENSON
ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

Adam is a director, dramaturg, creative technologist and theatre-maker. A major focus of his work is the development of new musicals and music-led work.

In 2020 he co founded THEATRICAL SOLUTIONS, a creative technology company that specialises in digital solutions for live theatre and events.

His solo show ANYTHING THAT WE WANTED TO BE which he wrote and performed was developed as part of Camden People’s Theatre Starting Blocks residency and made its world premiere there in 2022.

Adam was selected as one of the STAGE 100 in 2021 for his work in musical theatre and creative technology. His book BREAKING INTO SONG - WHY YOU SHOULDN’T HATE MUSICALS, has recently been published by Salamander Street Press. Alan Cumming described it as “A fascinating cri de coeur that made me question everything I think about musicals.” and Lyn Gardner called it “A passionate and cogently argued call to arms and a very enjoyable read”.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Lia is a passionate and experienced theatre administrator and production assistant who has worked across venues, producing companies, subsidised and commercial theatre for the last 15 years. Her employment history includes; Executive Assistant at ENGLISH NATIONAL BALLET (2021-present); Artistic Assistant at ENGLISH NATIONAL BALLET (2013-2021); Assistant & Office Manager for MICHAEL MCCABE PRODUCTIONS/MCCABE SMITH/JOE PUBLIC LTD (productions in the West End including WICKED, SWEENEY TODD, MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, AND CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, and on Broadway HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING); Administrator and Assistant to the Executive Director at BAC, Administrator at THE BROADWAY (BARKING), PALACE THEATRE LONDON, WARWICK ARTS CENTRE, and C VENUES.

Lia’s creative credits include: with Tim Connor - HEART OF WINTER (Writer, Producer & Director), Director/Choreographer - THE MUSICAL OF MUSICALS, THE MUSICAL! (Throwaway Theatre, Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2008; Winner of a Fringe Sell-Out Award), Assistant Director - LITTLE FISH (Pact Imagination Theatre, The Space), Producer - TARTUFFE, (Amo Theatre), Producer - ELEGIES FOR ANGELS, PUNKS AND RAGING QUEENS (European Student Drama Festival Acthea, France).

Training: University of Warwick, Stage One New Producers Course.

TIMELAPSE AFFILIATE ARTISTS

We will work with a core group of rotating affiliate artists who we will support and commission to create new work. In addition to our these artists, we will look to work with a broader range of writers, composers, dramaturgs and theatremakers to create collective, collaborative, music-led theatre.
